Why Japan?
Japan is known as the Land of the Rising Sun. It is a beautiful country that is filled with stunning landscapes, has a rich and vibrant history, and has state-of-the-art technology. However, it is also a country that does not have a large presence of the Gospel.

Most of the Japanese people have never heard about Jesus and many cities do not even have an evangelical church. Out of the 128 million people, approximately 2% profess to be Christian.1
In fact, Japan is considered to have the largest concentration of unreached people in the world. The main religions of Japan are Buddhism (68%) and Shinto, but many do not have a religion.
